Upcoming Picture Book! (Publication, September 2026.) This 32-page rhyming picture book is for children aged 3 to 7 and their families. It’s colorfully illustrated by super-talented Brandon Dorman! In addition to the above-mentioned picture book, I’ve written two award-winning children’s books: Bust Your BUTS: Tips for Teens Who Procrastinate, and Ignite Your Ideas: Creativity for Kids. These books are geared for readers age 10 and up—and their families, too.

I cover aspects of learning and child development including gifted education; creativity; children’s well-being; motivation; strategies for overcoming procrastination; and how to find an optimal educational match and create supportive learning environments. Book titles include Beyond Intelligence: Secrets for Raising Happily Productive Kids; as well as Not Now, Maybe Later: Helping Children Overcome Procrastination; and ABCs of Raising Smarter Kids; and Being Smart about Gifted Learning (3^rd Edition). These books are resources for parents, educators, caregivers, grandparents, health professionals, and anyone else interested in supporting the healthy development of children and teens.
